Sandstone Applications
Sandstone is a hard sedimentary rock which is resistant to most acids and alkalis. India has an extensive belt of sandstones around the river valleys and plains of North India, mainly in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Sandstone is also weather resistant and can be used in light to medium traffic commercial areas for indoor and outdoor applications. Being weather-resistant, sandstones can be used for garden items, landscaping and surrounding areas of swimming pools. Following varieties of sandstones are regularly available with us in natural cleaved tiles or slabs. Some of the materials are also available in honed / polished surfaces.
